Elizabeth Hewitt - "Chef Betty" - Catering Director
Chef Betty started in the mid-70's on her arrival from the Caribbean and working in the larder of a prestigious London hotel. Her hard work paid off as she became the first woman trainee chef in the hotel and her photograph appeared in the paper. For the past 30 years, Chef Betty has prepared menus and cooked many styles of cuisine for a vast array of clientele, at numerous establishments and for high class dignitaries, including the Royal Family. In addition to her role as Catering Director for Uptown Hospitality, Chef Betty is also the Executive Chef at a top London Hotel.
